Our Nutkins and Tiggy-Winkle Adventure tour is centred around Keswick and Derwentwater. One of the main filming locations, this area was the setting for some of Beatrix Potter's earlier books and the Potter family spent many summers at homes near the lake. In the Tale of Squirrel Nutkin the squirrels paddle across Derwentwater to St. Herberts Island The Tale of Benjamin Bunny and Mrs Tiggy-Winkle are set around Derwentwater In a Beatrix Potter sketch MrsTiggy-Winkle is seen with the lake and Skiddaw beyond		For Tour Map and Itinerary - click here

Tour includes: canoe hire - safety equipment - waterproofs - day sacs - fleeces - a qualified instructor for the day - collection from your hotel - picnic lunch - snacks - hot and cold drinks and a scenic drive to Buttermere and Loweswater before returning to your hotel.

	This is an outdoor activity day for all the family exploring the lake by canoe and Catbells on foot. 3 hours canoeing on the lake with a visit to St. Herbert's Island & lakeshore picnic 3 hour walk from Kitchen Bay along Catbells returning via the lakeshore 1 hour canoeing around Lingholm, Fawe Park,, Derwent Isle and Friars Crag Minimum group size: 5 Minimum age: 7
